PriMed Services

PriMed Services was initially founded in 2007 to provide an evening and weekend GP service in a Superstore (Doctors InStore) between NHS and Sainsbury’s. The concept was founded by Dr Mohammed Jiva, a General Practitioner in Middleton, Manchester to allow local residents to undertake a number of activities under one roof from shopping to undertaking a GP consultation and dispensing any prescriptions.

Following the initiation of this service in March 2008, PriMed Services was able to establish its main office at 133-135 Manchester Old Road Middleton M24 4DZ  and has extended its services to incorporate:

• Clinics InStore
• Knowledge Annex

In early 2009 Dr Jiva facilitated the formation of a new independent organization called 'PriMed Urology' led by a board of directors consisting of Consultant Urologist and General Practitioners from across the North West. This new organization will look at development of new services and pathway redesign of existing services in the specialty of Urology.

PriMed  Services continues to explore new service developments independently and in collaboration with other healthcare providers in a bid to provide consistency and improvement in Access, Quality and Outcomes.
